Judicial Inspection in Dubai: 15 Inspectors Take Oath
Fifteen judicial inspectors in Dubai today took the legal oath before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, affirming their commitment to performing their duties with honesty, integrity and dedication, and to respecting the laws and legislation in force.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum congratulated the new inspectors, wishing them success in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, and stressing the importance of the role played by judicial inspection in supporting the efficiency of the judicial system and entrenching the principles of integrity, justice and the rule of law.
His Highness also affirmed that developing judicial work is a fundamental pillar of Dubai’s journey towards the future, ensuring the protection of rights and the entrenchment of justice and the rule of law, and strengthening the emirate’s standing as a global model of judicial efficiency and the speed and effectiveness of delivering justice.
For their part, the judicial inspectors expressed their pride in the trust placed in them, affirming their commitment to performing their responsibilities with honesty and dedication and to working according to the highest professional and legal standards, in a way that contributes to elevating the judicial system and fulfilling their mission in the best possible manner.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by His Excellency Counsellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai; His Excellency Professor Dr Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Courts and Acting President of the Courts for Administrative Affairs; His Excellency Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed, President of the Court of Cassation and Acting President of the Courts for Judicial Affairs; His Excellency Counsellor Mohammed Mubarak Al Saboosi, Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority in the Emirate of Dubai; and His Excellency Professor Dr Abdullah Saif Al Saboosi, Secretary-General of the Judicial Council.
