The UAE Accountability Office Hosts International Officials in Abu Dhabi
His Excellency Humaid Obaid Abushibs, President of the UAE Accountability Authority, received at the Authority’s headquarters His Excellency Dr Stefan Blättler, Attorney General of the Swiss Confederation; Monica Juma, Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime; Leonard Lekgetho, Head of the Special Investigating Unit of the Republic of South Africa; and Danny Woo Ying-ming, Commissioner of the Independent Commission Against Corruption of Hong Kong, on the sidelines of their participation in the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice hosted by Abu Dhabi.
The meetings addressed ways to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise and practices in areas of mutual interest, contributing to supporting international cooperation and enhancing knowledge exchange among the relevant authorities.
The meetings form part of the UAE Accountability Authority’s efforts to strengthen its international partnerships and expand channels of cooperation and exchange of expertise with relevant bodies and international organisations.
