The UAE Accountability Office Launches Campaign Against Financial and Administrative Corruption

The UAE Accountability Authority has launched a campaign to raise awareness among employees of government entities of financial and administrative corruption practices and violations that may affect public funds, and to highlight the importance of reporting them through the approved channels.

The campaign focuses on enabling employees to recognise the practices that must be reported, not to be lenient in dealing with them, and to know the correct procedures when they are observed.

The campaign highlights the “Wajib” platform as a secure platform that allows individuals to report financial and administrative corruption practices and related violations.

The Authority affirmed that raising awareness of financial and administrative corruption practices and of the mechanisms for reporting them contributes to supporting the integrity and accountability system, on the basis that protecting public resources is a community responsibility, a role for every individual and a national partnership that helps safeguard the resources and achievements of the State.
