The Ministry of Interior Reviews Ways to Enhance Readiness System with AI and Modern Technologies

The Standing Committee for Operational Affairs and the Federal Team for Readiness and Preparedness Assessment held a joint coordination meeting, chaired by Brigadier Dr. Salem Al Habsi, Deputy Director-General of Federal Central Operations, with the attendance of committee members, operations and crisis directors, and a number of officers, at the Dubai Police Academy.

The meeting discussed security plans and business continuity plans, the readiness and preparedness assessment system, in addition to reviewing the mechanisms for implementing exercises and security scenarios, as well as the deployment of modern technologies, smart systems, and artificial intelligence applications to enhance the efficiency of the readiness and preparedness system, support risk-forecasting and data-analysis operations, and enable decision-makers to deal with various challenges efficiently and swiftly — in line with the government's directions on digital transformation and innovation, contributing to strengthening integration and coordination among partners, and raising readiness levels for various emergency and crisis situations.

The meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior's commitment to developing the security work system and enhancing the readiness of its work teams, ensuring rapid response, and strengthening security and stability in society and the safety of its members, in accordance with best practices and approved standards.
