The discussion of the project took place during a meeting held by the committee at the council's headquarters in Sharjah City, where members reviewed various articles of the draft law and the objectives it aims to achieve, primarily the organization of the practice of judicial expertise and the establishment of a comprehensive legal framework that defines the controls for its practice, contributing to supporting the judicial system and enhancing the efficiency of specialized technical expertise.

The Role of Experts in Supporting the Judiciary

The committee focused during its discussions on the pivotal role played by experts in assisting judicial authorities by providing specialized technical opinions on matters requiring technical or professional expertise, whether based on a mandate from the competent judicial authority or by agreement of the disputing parties, thereby supporting the accuracy of technical reports and contributing to the establishment of the quality of judicial rulings and decisions.

The draft law aims to develop the judicial expertise system in the Emirate of Sharjah by providing an integrated regulatory environment that contributes to enhancing technical performance, and supporting judicial entities with qualified and specialized expertise, which positively reflects on the quality of justice and the speed of resolving disputes.
